Upcoming Caribbean Marathons
With its stunning blue skies, gorgeous beaches, vibrant culture, and fantastic cuisine, the Caribbean is a destination where you can escape for adventure, culture, fun, and outdoor activities. Here are some upcoming marathons happening across the Caribbean.
KLM Aruba Marathon
Date: 7-8 June 2025.
Races: Full marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K.
Location: Noord, Aruba.

The seventh KLM Aruba Marathon has a fantastic course that takes runners on a path with weaving palm trees, the ocean, Eagle Beach, and the California Lighthouse, which are iconic Aruba landmarks. The event is an established and official AIMS/World Athletics-certified race and serves as a qualifier for other international races. Awards for the top three placements in various races include a special cup award, marathon tickets, and a monetary prize for the runner who breaks the Aruba Marathon record (02:44:16).

Nevis Marathon and Running Festival
Date: 6 September 2025.
Races: Full marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K.
Location: Oualie Beach, Nevis.

The Nevis Marathon & Running Festival features four races, making it ideal for various fitness classes. Runners will test their endurance during the full marathon, while half-marathon runners can enjoy an achievable and scenic run. KLM Curaçao Marathon
Date: 29-30 November 2025.

Location: Otrobanda, Curaçao.

The KLM Curaçao Marathon is a unique event where organisers deliver on their promise that you will have the ‘best time ever’. The event is an established and official AIMS/World Athletics-certified race, with its first staging on 30 November 2014. Participants will get a picturesque view that includes the waterfront and landmarks like the Queen Emma Bridge and the Queen Juliana Bridge.

Reggae Marathon
Date: 7 December 2025.

Locations: Kingston, Jamaica.

The Reggae Marathon features a mostly flat IAAF-certified course. It typically occurs in Negril (Seven Mile Beach), a famous tourist destination. However, this year, the event will move to the bustling city of Kingston, offering an impressive waterfront route and a new challenge for runners. Reggae Marathon celebrate its 25th anniversary this year, and the change in location honours Jamaica’s capital city, culture, and resilience. Attendees can expect signature events like the half marathon, 10K and 5K, live music, and pre- and post-race events. Awards for this event include the Bob Marley and Rita Marley trophies, the Barclay Ewart trophy, certificates, commemorative finisher medals, and a cash prize.

Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon
Date: 7 December 2025.
Races: Full marathon, half marathon, 4-person relay, and a Kids Fun Run.
Location: George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

The Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon is IAAF-sanctioned and a Boston Marathon qualifier event. The event occurs annually on the first Sunday in December. All registered runners will receive a commemorative finishers medal. Awards will be given for various races and teams. Some proceeds from the race will help two local charities (Cayman Islands Cadet Corps and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society).
