40 Years of Running Fun: The Turibana Loop 10.5k Race

Fun runners and competitive racers will take to the road in Aruba on Sunday 8 September for the 40th annual Turibana Loop 10.5k race.
Runners from around the Caribbean and the world are expected to take part in the event, which has been a permanent fixture on the region’s sporting calendar since 1979.
The individual 10.5k race starts at 6am at MFA Noord.
Competitors start running just before the sun rises along a route which goes through the neighbourhood of Malmok, past some stunning ocean vistas, before looping back to the start.
Other races held during the event are:
10.5k Duo Relay Walk & Run (5.25k each competitor)
1.6k Kids Run (eight to 13 years old)
400 metre Kids Run (four to seven years old)
Participants receive a Turibana Loop 2019 special 40th edition Dri-Fit shirt; a Turibana Loop 2019 bib-number with chip; a Turibana Loop 2019 finisher’s medal as well as fruits and refreshments.
Awards will also be given for the top three competitors in each race according to various age and gender categories.
Whether you are just running for fun, aiming for a medal, or standing on the sidelines cheering people on; the Turibana Loop 10.5k race is an event that everyone can enjoy!
