International Aruba Half Marathon

A group of people are running in a race. Only their legs are visible. They are all wearing short pants and T-shirts. They are also wearing running shoes. On the right side of the ground, the shadows of spectators are visible.

On Sunday 26th March, international competitors from around the world and in Aruba will come to take part in the island’s longest road race. The marathon covers the entire length of the island from, from San Nicolas to Oranjestad. This year will be the 32nd anniversary of this spectacular race

The course will begin in front of Joe Laveist Sport Park in San Nicolas and ends in front of Alhambra Casino, Aruba. The Half Marathon begins at 5:30 a.m. Check in starts at Alhambra Casino from 4.00 am from where the bus transfer will take you to the start at Joe Laveist Sport Park, the last bus transfer leaves at 4.30 am. The Red Cross will have two tents on route and will take part on bike to assist those throughout the run. There will also be a Sweeper behind the last runners who will pick everyone up on the route.

Each runner will receive a finisher medal. There will be awards for the winners of the categories. Registration has ended, but come out on Sunday to spectate, cheer on and support local runners in the Aruba International Half Marathon.
