The event is held for over a week and features a series of events that include a family fun day (16 July), free street dance (17 July), Blitz (19 July), All White (18 July), and Global Sound Clash (20 July).
The main festival nights take place on 21 and 22 July, featuring an impressive lineup including Tommy Lee, Valiant, Masicka, Kabaka Pyramid, Freddie McGregor, Morgan Heritage, Marion Hall, Richie Spice, and Tanya Stephens. There will also be a tribute to King Jammy on Saturday, 22 July 2023. You can stay updated on the event and purchase tickets on the Reggae Sumfest website.

Your summer events list is incomplete without considering Dream Weekend. This event is the Caribbean’s most extensive VIP party, providing patrons with an experience that creates lasting memories. Dream Weekend is an annual signature event for partygoers in Jamaica, with a weekend-long getaway in Negril just before Jamaica’s Independence holidays. Jamaica’s independence festival is a spectacular event that celebrates our culture, traditions, and independence from the United Kingdom. This year marks the 61st year, and many exciting events are on the roster. Some exciting events planned for the celebrations include the Festival Queen Coronation, Mello-Go-Roun, award ceremonies, float parade, Jamaica Festival Song contest, street dances, and the Independence Grand Gala.
