Designers at Barbados Fashion Week 2022 Ready for the Runway

Bridgetown Barbados Fashion Week (BBFW) is back for 2022 with a full schedule of exciting workshops and runway shows taking place from 27-30 October.
BBFW (previously known as Barbados’ International Fashion Festival) gives local and regional designers a unique chance to learn new skills and present their clothes to the public on a specially designed catwalk.
The official launch of Miss World Barbados 2022 will also be part of this year’s fashion week event.
Below is the full BBFW schedule:
Thursday 27 October
Design in Style with Rickie Lee workshop: 9am-3pm
Cocktail event by invitation only
Friday 28 October
Design in Style with Rickie Lee workshop: 9am-2pm
Sustainable couture and artistry workshop with Oliver Tolentino: 10am-1pm
Saturday 29 October
Caribbean Fashion Show: 7pm-9pm (includes a marketplace and runway presentations from local and regional designers)
Sunday 30 October
The Pink Grand Finale: 6pm-9pm featuring Lee’s collection (men’s) from Los Angeles and Oliver Tolentino’s collection (women’s) from Los Angeles.
The ‘Fashion Is Big Business’ workshops will all take place at the Caribbean Market Centre, Building 7 Newton Industrial Estate, Christ Church. The designers’ collections will be presented at the official runway in Golden Square Freedom Park, Bridgetown.
