Keep Your Children Entertained at these Six Easter Camps in Barbados

Easter has arrived and there are several camps on the island offering children something fun, different, and fulfilling to keep them occupied during the break from school.
Here are just a few:
Cherry Tree Kids will be hosting ‘Gratitude – An Easter Reading and Music Camp edition’ from 11-21 April. The camp is for children aged four to nine. Attendees will learn daily music appreciation with instrument sessions, alongside other fun activities such as arts and crafts and storytelling. The cost is $240 (BBD) for the full camp or $150 (BBD) for the week. Registration for non-members is $25 – send an email to [email protected].
A free Easter camp specifically for young boys is being hosted by the National Council on Substance Abuse from 16-22 April at Ruby House, St Philip. The camp’s programme will include educational sessions, sporting activities, and a movie night. There are 40 spaces available. Call 535 6272/ 6277 to register.
Island of Adventure will hold its Easter camp from 11-21 April at the Church of the Nazarene on Halls Road. The cost is $20 (BBD) for the day or $70 (BBD) for the week. Kids will enjoy an Easter egg hunt, kite making, sports, and themed days. Contact 824 1036 for more details.
The Sprouts Kids Club will be hosting three Easter camps for children aged four to nine from 8am until 1pm. The first one runs from 27-31 March and costs $250 (BBD) for the week. The second camp goes from 3-6 April and the last one from 11-14 April. These camps cost $200 (BBD). Register by email – [email protected].
On Lucas Street in St Philip, Kid’s Play Academy has an Easter camp scheduled from 11-21 April. Children will be treated to story book activities, cookie decorating, an Easter egg hunt and much more! The fee is $25 (BBD) a day or $100 weekly. A t-shirt is included in the $50 registration fee. Call 842 9220 for more information.
The Jamboree Educational Playcentre is promising two weeks of “fun and festivities” at its Easter camp which begins on 5 April. The cost is $250 (BBD) per child. Spaces are limited. Call 548 8458 to register.
