Raise the Checkered Flag for the 2025 BCIC Rally Barbados Event
by Karen Rollins May 19, 2025

‘Rally Barbados’ will be roaring through the streets of Barbados again this year from 30 May-1 June.
The BCIC Rally Barbados 2025 is the 35th edition of the island’s showcase motor race. It all begins with the Auto & Rally Show on 25 May and First Citizens King of the Hill – the shakedown event to establish the seeding for Rally Barbados 2025 – on 26 May. The main rally takes place over three days.
Speaking at a recent media launch for Rally Barbados 2025, the organisers confirmed that this year’s flagship event has attracted more entries than ever. Over 125 crews are expected to take part in the 22-stage tarmac event which is the Caribbean’s biggest annual motorsport event.
Event Director, Neil Barnard, particularly noted international interest in the premier event with 51 overseas crews from 13 countries signed up to take part.
Mr Barnard said: “Rallying in Barbados experienced real growth during 2024, but the overseas response to our event this year has been astonishing. After starting a record 100 cars last year, we were confident that the event was well on its way to recovering from the effects of the pandemic. To see an entry of 75 local cars is unheard of, but the overseas response to our event this year has been astonishing.”
Below are the 2025 rally’s main events:
Saturday 24 May: The Auto & Rally Show
Sunday 25 May: First Citizens King of the Hill race
Friday 30 May: BCIC Rally Barbados 2025 – day 1
