This year’s postponed Naniki Barbados Music Festival ‘Songs of the Forest’ has been rescheduled for 9-10 March.

The event was previously slated to take place 27-28 January but was cancelled due to incessant rains and a waterlogged venue.

The impressive line-up for the festival includes the Barbados Community College Jazz Ensemble, Kaiso Jazz Experience featuring Trinidadian pan virtuoso Dane Gulston, and legendary Barbadian entertainer Red Plastic Bag.

Tickets cost $100 (BBD) for general admission, $170 (BBD) for both days of the festival, and $295 (BBD) for VIP. Tickets are available online at Ticketnation.bb and various box offices around the island. It will cost more on the door.

A free park and ride service will operate from St Joseph Primary School.

The scenic amphitheatre at the Naniki Resort in Suriname, St Joseph has been hosting unique music events since 2014. It’s known for producing a welcoming, chilled out festival featuring some of the best local, regional, and international musicians.
