Viva Mexico: Girlfriends Expo and Arts Festival 2020

The ever-popular Girlfriends Expo and Arts Festival will be back “empowering, educating and entertaining women” on 1 and 2 February 2020.
This year the two-day festival, which features around 80 exhibitors and is popular with Barbadian women of all ages, has the theme ‘Viva Mexico’.
The expo is now in its 11th year and will be held at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Wildey, St Michael. It is billed as “a premier marketing opportunity for local entrepreneurs, small businesses and large companies who are aiming products at female consumers.”
Some of the planned activities include fashion shows, art parties, inspirational workshops, informative talks and highly-indulgent ‘pamper zones’ featuring henna tattoos and massages.
Various stalls will also be selling jewellery, clothes, haircare and skincare items and unique gifts. There will also be plenty of healthy food and drink options.
Early-bird VIP tickets are on sale now for $75 (BBD). General admission is $20 (BBD) in advance and $25 (BBD) on the door. The expo opens from midday – 9pm on both days.
Put the dates in your diary and go along with your girlfriends, mother, daughter or sister, to this fun female-focused weekend.
