We Gatherin' 2025

Barbados’ ‘We Gatherin’ celebrations are continuing in St Joseph throughout April under the theme ‘Adventure.’

So far, the parish’s celebrations have included a church service, the Peace Programme Cricket Finals, and the launch of the Soccerama football tournament.

During the rest of this month, locals and tourists can look forward to a family fun ride and walk on 19 April, a kite flying festival and lime on 21 April, the Soccerama tournament finals on 24 April, and a parish-wide scavenger hunt on 26 April.

We Gatherin’ is a 52-week tourism campaign branded as an “all-inclusive Bajan homecoming”. All the island’s parishes are taking turns to hold special events, competitions, festivals, and concerts, aimed at bringing together Bajans from around the globe.

‘We Gatherin’ 2025’ will culminate with island wide cultural events from 30 November to 31 December including a national cook-off highlighting Barbadian cuisine.

The parish hosting events in May is St John with the theme of ‘community.’
