If you type “Lamanai Eco Tours Ltd.” and read the reviews, you’ll want to book one of their tours. The company’s CEO and director, Errol George Cadle, has worked as a tour operator in the tourism industry for over 20 years.

During that time, he created Lamanai Eco tours Ltd., which allows others to enjoy the beauty of Belize and learn about the country’s diverse history.

Mr Cadle gives us a quick glimpse of his company’s work and what to expect during Easter.

You used your experience and knowledge of the tourism industry to start your company. Tell us more.

With approximately 13 years in the tourism sector, we aim to create a once-in-a-lifetime magical experience for our guests. At Lamanai Eco Tours Ltd., we provide tours that bring you close to nature. We have regular and private tours. Our boats include all the amenities for a safe and comfortable trip with professional guides who enjoy what they do. We have different trips available, including excursions to Lamanai Maya Ruin, fishing along the majestic New River, bird watching, river and nature tours.

The package includes lunch, entrance fee, guided tour, boat ride, and beverages. You can bring snacks along and purchase beers at the restaurant we have in the compound.

Easter is a time of religious and cultural activities in Belize. What makes it unique?

Easter is special here in our beautiful Shuga City. We have religious activities and traditions, and people go to the archaeological site in Lamanai to have some fun in the sun.

When are you available for tours?

We are always open – seven days a week. So, interested persons can give us a call or visit our location at mile 49 1/2 Phillip Goldson Highway, in Orange Walk District, Belize, C.A.
