Summer Sizzle offers fashion workshops for those who are interested in fashion, design and photography. Sessions led by industry professionals take place from 9am to 4pm on 26 July.

You’ll be sitting for long periods at these workshops, and you never know what may be asked of you. Shine Bright at the Style Gala

Break out the brights to dress on theme for this year’s Style Gala, Neon After Dark. The party on Tortola will feature some of BVI’s top DJs and includes a buffet of Caribbean and international dishes.

Neon is definitely on-trend this season, and there are ways to incorporate it into your party outfit even if you’re not a huge fan of loud colours. Here are some ideas:

• Accessorise with it: Add neon jewellery, bags, belts or shoes to an otherwise neutral outfit.
• Go bold: Daring fashionistas might enjoy rocking the neon pantsuit trend that celebrities like Blake Lively have been seen in.

The Global Glamour Runway show is a standout event of the weekend, and you’ll want to look your best for it.
