BVI Wreck Week 2023 Come Join Us!
by Lou-Ann Jordan Feb 6, 2023
February is a busy month in the Caribbean, and an excellent time to visit. There are several annual festivals taking place from north to south. While several islands are celebrating their carnivals offering an overwhelming array of fetes, in the British Virgin Islands we’re joining in the merry-making but doing things somewhat differently.
Whether a local looking for something fun to do, a regional visitor island-hopping or someone fleeing colder temperatures, BVI offers a novel experience. We delve into our sea-fearing traditions from 12 to 18 February, as we celebrate our annual BVI Wreck Week.
The event offers experienced divers opportunities to explore underwater to view the Kodiak Queen, Sharkplaneo, Chickuzen and others. With the sunken vessels located in various spots, participants will traverse the waters of islands such as PetersIslands, Virgin Gorda, Tortola, Salt Island and others. Additionally, the festivities will feature several parties, a beach clean-up, a movie night and more.
The BVI Wreck Week 2023 is an exhilarating event that invites all to enjoy the best of our islands. Here’s a list of the main events that are scheduled.
