Calling All Seafood Lovers! It’s The Caribbean’s Top Lobster Festival

It’s one of the Caribbean’s biggest food fetes and tops BVI’s events calendar—the Anegada Lobster Festival. It’s finally here! During the annual three-day event, lobster takes centre stage, as it is used as the main ingredient in varying dishes. In its eleventh year, the highly popular festival is a time when local chefs show off their culinary skills.

The event began in 2013, having evolved from the BVI Food Fete, a week of events involving the participation of local restaurants. Since then, each instalment has been met with greater participation by locals and visitors to the BVI. This year, the festivities will take place from 24 – 26 November 2023, and promise to be an excellent treat for all. Over the course of the event, the BVI turns into a virtual seafood lovers paradise.

As it’s customary, all are invited to traverse the island, exploring and sampling deliciously creative crustacean fare from the participating restaurants. Prepare your taste buds for a diverse menu with curry, jerk, stew lobster, and lobster bites. There will also be lobster-inspired fritters and quesadillas. We imagine that there will be the usual novelty treats, like vanilla-flavoured lobster ice cream and more. The chefs get very creative!
