This March We’re Going Sailing. Let’s Begin with the High Point YachtFest 2023, BVI
by Lou-Ann Jordan Mar 6, 2023

In general, March is known for being sunny with clear skies. So, what do you do with such awesome weather? You assemble your crew and head to the beach, or better yet, go sailing! Now, if you’re looking for a sailing event, there will be several over the next few weeks. However, the first on our March calendar is the High Point YachtFest.
The HPYF 2023 which occurs from 18 to 25 March 2023, promises to be a time of fun, food, and friendship. Lots of sailing and socialising can be expected over the week as participants will spend the entire period on their boats.
The event promises to be highly entertaining. Sailors will have an opportunity to feast on our mouthwatering local cuisine while treating their eyes to some of the Caribbean’s most picturesque vistas. With Nanny Cay as the starting point, the fleets will navigate the waters of Cooper Island, White Bay and Great Harbour, Blunder Bay and more. Of course, crews will enjoy some other aquatic pursuits such as swimming, and snorkelling. There may even be a bit of kitesurfing.
The week-long activities will kick off with embarkment in Tortola and daily racing activities throughout the week. Here is a list of activities for HPYF 2023:
