Father's Day 2022

Father’s Day is Sunday 19 June.

If you’re struggling to think beyond socks and a tie as a gift for your dad, or another father figure in your life, hopefully this guide will give you some more adventurous ideas.

Skincare

Women love to feel pampered, and a lot of men do too! So why not treat your dad to a range of products from his ‘go-to’ skincare brand. You can even put together your own gift basket with soaps, lotions, deodorant and aftershave.

Family photos

Parents love sitting down to look at old photos from when their children were younger. Find one of your dad’s favourite family snaps and put it in a lovely picture frame so that he can display it on the wall or on his desk at work.

Tools

You’d be hard-pressed to find a man who is not into Do-It-Yourself, so a gift for dad’s toolbox is usually a good choice. Buy him a set of screwdrivers, a spirit level, or (if your budget will stretch to it) an electric drill. Whatever you select, just make sure your dad doesn’t already own that gadget!

Jewellery

If your father wears any type of jewellery, it is guaranteed that he will appreciate a watch, necklace, ring, or earring/s, chosen for him especially by you. You can even engrave a larger item with a heartfelt message for an even more personal touch.

Spend time together

One of the best gifts you can give any father is some of your time. Arrange a day at the beach, organise an excursion, or choose a family activity that you both love and add to the memories you already share.

You could also go out for a meal, take in a live show, or see a movie. Whatever you choose to do, your dad will appreciate the time you’ve taken to be with him.

We hope these Father’s Day gift ideas have given you some inspiration.
