The Cayman Islands are known for stunning sunsets. We all know this, but how often have you taken the time to witness this magnificent daily occurrence? We are challenging you to take some time in 2024 and breathe in, watch the sunset, and enjoy the spectacular tropical hues of the Cayman Island sunset.

Seven Mile Beach

We couldn’t tie down a particular spot on Seven Mile Beach. The area is known as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. With sparkling waters and golden sands, the expansive waterfront here is open to the public, making it possible to walk the entire length of the shore. Take a moment one evening and enjoy the sunset at Seven Mile Beach.

West Bay Public Dock

West Bay Beach is perfect for sun-catching and sunsets. There are several eateries nearby and the docks are where many sightseers and residents visit for a dose of relaxation.

Sunset House

The name says it all really. Sunset House is a 15-minute walk south of George Town in a quiet, cruise-ship-free location. The resort has a courtyard and ocean-view rooms. You can enjoy the sunset from the property’s My Bar, which is right on the water. It is an open-sided, thatch-roofed cabana.

Macabuca and Cracked Conch

Macabuca is Grand Cayman’s top oceanfront tiki bar. Located in West Bay, on the northwest point of the Island, Macabuca has daily happy hours during sunset from 5pm to 7pm. Coccoloba at the Kimpton

Coccoloba at the Kimpton offers a relaxed beachside experience. It is right on the waterfront on Seven Mile Beach. The bar and grill has an open-air, three-sided bar and ocean views in all directions, great for sunsets, and they open until 9pm.

Rackham’s

Rackham’s in George Town is an open-air waterfront property featuring views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. The restaurant is built on natural wood decking surrounded by lush greenery.
