Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament 2025

A mix of local and international anglers are set to compete for prizes in the Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament being held from 29 April to 6 May 2025.

Eligible species for the fishing tournament include wahoo, yellowfin tuna, dolphin and billfish.

Here is what to expect from the 2025 Cayman Islands International Fishing Tournament.

Welcome and Registration

Registration begins at 6pm on Tuesday 29 April at the George Town Yacht Club and Captain’s Table.

Bimini Start

Thursday 1 May Bimini Start at 7.30am at the George Town Harbour and South Side Channel.

Fishing Hours

Thursday 1 May – 7.30am to 4.30pm.

Friday 2 May to Sunday 4 May – 6am to 4.30pm.

Weigh Station

During tournament fishing days, weighing will be done from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at the George Town Yacht Club and Channel Wharf.

Awards

The awards show and presentation will be held on Thursday 6 May – venue to be announced.
