Easter Camps 2022 in the Cayman Islands

Easter is just around the corner, and with schools out for a couple of weeks, you need activities to keep your young ones active and engaged. There are Easter camp activities taking place around the island for children of all ages to enjoy.

Here is a list of Easter camp activities available to keep your children entertained, so be quick and book your space now.

Cayman Islands Sailing Club

Are you a sailor and want your young one to join you on the high seas? The Cayman Islands Sailing Club welcomes students to their Easter sailing camp. The camps focus on achieving a competent level in the basics of sailing.  The camps encompass children from the beginner sailor, with no sailing knowledge or skills, to intermediate sailors who possess basic sailing skills but want to improve.

Camp one will be held from Monday 11 April to Thursday 14 April 2022. And camp two will be from Tuesday 19 April to Friday 22 April 2022. Classes are from 8.30am to 4pm.

Camp fees are CI$460. There is also a 10% sibling discount available, and the price includes a CI$60 membership fee. If your child is already a member of the sailing club the difference will be credited to your account.

Cayman Islands Tennis Club

The Cayman Islands Tennis Club is inviting students to sign up for their Easter Camp which will focus on tennis and games.  

Camp dates are Tuesday 19 April to Saturday 23 April 2022. There are two groups, Green and Orange Ball Camp from 8am to noon and the Red Ball Camp for children ages four to eight years from 9am to noon.

For the week, Red Ball Camp costs CI$250 for club members and CI$295 for non-members and the Green and Orange Camp will cost CI$340 for club members and CI$390 for non-members.

Camp Seafire at the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa

Camp Seafire features thoughtful, well-planned programmes for children. Easter camp activities include spring crafts and experiments such as DIY bunny masks, stuff your own bunny pillow, and a scavenger hunt with the Easter bunny.

Camp spots are filling up fast so book early. The camp runs from Wednesday 13 April to Friday 22 April 2022. Camp Seafire costs CI$95 per day or CI$475 for the week. The full day camp runs from 8.30am to 5pm.

The Royal Life Saving Society, Cayman Islands

The Royal Life Saving Society, Cayman Islands is offering two camps at Governors Beach from 11-15 April and 18-22 April 2022.

Help your children be safe in and around water and learn how to help their friends and others with rescue and safety techniques.

The two camps include:

Junior Lifeguard Club: 9am-noon for 8-12 years old to learn lifesaving skills, first aid and lifesaving sport.

15 hours programme cost: CI $150.

Bronze Camp: 12:30pm-4:30pm for 12+ to undertake the Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross awards leading towards internationally recognised Lifeguard Certification.

20 hours programme, cost CI $200.

All programmes are taught by RLSS CI Executive Director, Craig Amundsen.
