The Grand Cayman Agricultural Show is one of the biggest community events on the island. Now in its 55th year, the show attracts over 10,000 patrons annually. The organisers are the Cayman Islands Agricultural Society.

The event is held on Ash Wednesday and this year’s staging is Wednesday 14 February at the Grounds, Lower Valley.

What To Expect At The 2024 Agricultural Show

Here is what you can expect from the show – it is a family-friendly event so your little ones, parents, and extended family will all find something to enjoy.

Meet Local Farmers

Interact with local farmers, learn about their techniques, and buy fresh local fruit and vegetables directly from the source. Children will enjoy pony rides and have fun looking at cows, goats, chickens and other livestock.

Live Entertainment

Listen to local music, get your child’s face painted, and watch local craft demonstrations.

Enjoy Delicious Local Food

There will be plenty of Caymanian local fare to enjoy.

The gates open at 7am and the fun continues until 4pm. Tickets are CI $10 for adults, and children aged two to 12 pay CI $5. It is the perfect way to spend the Ash Wednesday public holiday.
