Tree Lighting and Holiday Market, Camana Bay – Saturday 18 November

Camana Bay kicks off the holiday season with their free tree lighting event in mid-November. The tree will be lit at 7pm. Come out with the entire family and enjoy a night market with artisans selling unique gift items your loved ones will cherish.

Girlguiding Cayman Islands Christmas Arts and Crafts Bazaar – Saturday 25 November

Choose from 30 local vendors that will be showcasing their arts, crafts, and handmade jewellery. You are bound to find that special one-of-a-kind item for your holiday shopping. Admission is free.

All proceeds go to Girlguiding Cayman Islands. The holiday bazaar will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic School Hall and Courtyard, Walkers Road from 10am to 2pm.

Jasmine Life Up A Life, Waterfront Terrace, Forum Lane – Tuesday 28 November 2023

Light up a life on the Jasmine Christmas tree and place a loved one’s name engraved on an ornament to celebrate their memory. The event starts at 5.30pm and the contribution is CI$10.

Visual Arts Society Holiday Craft Market, The Paseo – Saturday 2 December 2023

Attend this festive market and support local artisans who handmake selections of locally crafted items, including Christmas decorations, gifts, jewellery, wood crafts, and fine art photography and prints.  The market opens at 10am.

Free Family Photos with Santa, Camana Bay – Saturday 9 December

Santa will be at Camana Bay this December and your little ones can have their photos taken with Santa for free. Meet Santa on the 9 December 2023 at 9am-11am.

Ninth Annual Santa Run, the Cresent, Camana Bay – Saturday 9 December

The ninth annual Santa Run is back and will once again benefit Cayman Food Bank through the Camana Bay Christmas Give. Participants in the fun run (which kicks off from the Crescent in Camana Bay) will receive a T-shirt while supplies last. The cost of registration is CI$30 for adults, $20 for children ages five-12 and $12 for children under five. To register, visit the Camana Bay Visitor Centre. The fun run starts at 6am.

Wanderlust Brunch, Anchor and Den – Sunday 10 December

Enjoy the holiday edition of Anchor & Den’s Wanderlust Brunch. Embark on a culinary adventure to all corners of the globe with inspired gastronomic offerings.

Gingerbread House Workshop, The Ritz-Carlton – Sunday 10 December

It is time to show your creativity and whimsy at the Gingerbread House Workshop hosted by the Ritz-Carlton. There will be multiple sessions starting on Sunday 10 December from 11.30am to 2.30pm.

Other dates are 16, 17 and 18 December 2023.

Christmas at the Castle, Pedro St James, Savannah – Sunday 10 December 2023

Pedro St James will host its annual holiday event ‘Christmas at the Castle’ on Sunday 10 December 2023 at 6pm.

The family-friendly event is free to the public.

This year’s ‘celebration under the stars’ will feature tree lighting, a visit from Santa plus carolling. Delicious food and drink will be on sale.

Plus, you can do some early Christmas shopping and buy locally made, unique Caymanian gifts for your loved ones at the Christmas market.

A part of the proceeds will be donated to Meals on Wheels.

Christmas Moonlight and Movies, Camana Bay – Tuesday 19 December 2023

Enjoy a free showing of Arthur Christmas (2011). Bring the entire family and watch this festive movie at Camana Bay. Make it a fun evening for the little ones and invite along their friends.

The 2011 animated Christmas comedy is set on Christmas Eve, and centres on Arthur Claus, the clumsy but well-meaning son of Santa Claus, who discovers that his father’s high-tech ship has failed to deliver one girl’s present. Accompanied only by his free-spirited and reckless grandfather, an enthusiastic young Christmas elf obsessed with wrapping gifts for children, and a team of reindeer, he embarks on a mission to deliver the girl’s present personally.
