Jamaica, The Cayman Islands, Anguilla & St Barth Nominated in Caribbean’s Best Culinary Festival 2021

We know Caribbean cuisine is tasty and delightful, so it’s not surprising that Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, and Saint Barthélemy have all received nominations for the 2021 Caribbean’s Best Culinary Festival.

The Caribbean’s Best Culinary Festival is organised by The World Culinary Awards™. The organisation celebrates and rewards excellence in the culinary industry through their annual awards programme.

The winner (nominee with the most votes) will be announced at the 2021 World Culinary Awards gala ceremony on Dubai 7 November this year.

Jamaica Food and Drink Festival is an annual event that started in 2015. It is held during the last week of October each year and features brunches, wine pairings and a family-style food market event, among other festivities. Patrons enjoy superior culinary standards and top-notch executions from participants. Known for excellence over the years, the JFDF was also a semifinalist in the World Food Travel Association Food Trekking Awards 2019. Cayman Cookout is known for featuring top chefs, wines and spirits, personalities, and, of course, world-class cuisine. Forbes dubbed the event the “Ultimate Food and Wine Festival for Beach Lovers”, featuring it several times over the years. Postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns, the popular festival usually features restaurateurs, street vendors and world-class chefs serving up unforgettable food and drink options.

The events include Taste of the Strip, Pub Crawl, Festival Del Mar (seafood celebration) and Anguilla’s Chef Extraordinaire, a stylish event that highlights local chefs. There’s also prix fixe lunch and dinner menus for participating restaurants, resorts, villas, and escapes. To support Anguilla Eats for the top prize, read the voting rules and then vote today!
