In Grand Cayman, there are so many ways to show your mom you care this Mother’s Day.

Here’s how you can celebrate with her for this year’s special day.

DINING

Brunch

Brunch culture is alive and well in Cayman. Raise a (bottomless) champagne toast to mom at an all-you-can-eat brunch, buffet style or ala carte.

Buffet style

A-la Carte

Tea Parties

Treat mom to an afternoon of tea, sandwiches, cakes and other sweet treats.

WORKSHOPS

Mother’s Day Workshops at 3 Girls and a Kiln

Art collective 3 Girls and a Kiln will be hosting two events in their design studio on Mother’s Day. Kids can drop in all day to make Mother’s Day cards for only $5.00. Then at 7pm, they’ll host a faceted vase glazing workshop: sign up in advance, grab a bottle of wine from West Indies Wine Company and head to the session to get creative with your mom!

Art Nest Mother’s Day Monet Tea Party Brunch

Like the sound of brunch, a tea party and a workshop? You’re in luck. Art Nest is hosting a tea-themed brunch and painting event that combines all three! Enjoy teas by Cayman Tea Time, sandwiches, an omelette station, and a toast bar with gourmet spreads by Conscious Café. Afterwards, head over to the painting studio to create a beautiful impressionist piece inspired by Monet.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Spa Day

Help your mom relax and rejuvenate by treating her to a spa day. Whether you want a full-day luxury experience or a simple mani-pedi, there are lots of spa options on the island.

Kayak Tours

Does your mom love the outdoors? Sign up for a guided kayak tour of the beautiful North Sound with the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman’s Ambassadors of the Environment. They offer mangrove kayak tours, night-time snorkelling, glass bottom boat expeditions and more.

Cayman Kayaks also offers incredible bioluminescent kayak tours near Rum Point.

Yoga Classes

If your mom prefers being active, stretch, relax and sweat with her at a yoga class.

OTHER

Theatre Shows

If your mom is a theatre-buff, she might like tickets to Cayman Drama Society’s new production of Proof by David Auburn. It plays at the Prospect Playhouse on 9 to 11, 17 to 18, and 23 to 25 May.

A Night Out

Anchor and Den’s monthly Night Market is themed Mother’s Day for May. The signature dining and shopping event runs from 6pm to 10pm on 10 May. Food and beverage options include a Bellini and bubbles bar, empanadas stall, sushi and raw bar, outdoor Aegean cuisine counter, and cookie decorating station. You can also purchase monogrammed canvas totes by Forestbound at the event, and browse jewellery by Gemma Critchley, founder of Cabinet Jewelry. DJ Marcelle will be playing music throughout the evening to help you celebrate!

Family Portraits

Snap memories to treasure for a lifetime with a family portrait session. Camana Bay and Picture This Studios will host their annual Mother’s Day Portraits event on 11 May in Gardenia Court from 10am to midday. Photo sessions are free on a first come first serve basis, and digital or print versions of your images can be purchased as packages.

No time to drop by Camana Bay on Saturday? You can also look into a private photographer.

Spoil your mom with one of these Cayman Mother’s Day activities. She’ll surely be feeling the love!
