Music, Mental Health Awareness and Makeover Magic: What’s On in the Cayman Islands from April to June 2024

The second quarter of 2024 in the Cayman Islands is chockful of fun activities you can enjoy with your family and friends. We will have music festivals, mental health awareness support fundraisers, a natural hair show, and the carnival season beach party kickoff fete.

April
Taste of Cayman – Friday 12 April to Saturday 13 April
The 2024 staging of Taste of Cayman Food and Drink Festival will be held from Friday 12 April to Saturday 13 April 2024 at Festival Green, Camana Bay.
Patrons will enjoy the very best of Cayman’s diverse cuisines, local produce, and drinks.
The festival starts with a bang with a special, one-night-only opening concert featuring the Black Eyed Peas. Gates open at 7 pm. The general admission fee for the concert is CI $140, or you can enjoy VIP access for CI $500.
On Saturday, adult general admission tickets are CI$60 and children’s tickets are CI$20. Tickets are available online on the Taste of Cayman website.

Capella Music Festival 2024 – Saturday 27 April
The 2024 staging of the Capella Music Festival is slated for Saturday 27 April at Festival Green in Camana Bay.
It features Cayman’s top artists, bands, and DJs alongside an exciting line-up of local and international artists—experience music across all genres.
Tickets are already available for sale online on Event Pro starting at CI $150. The festival starts at noon and continues until 11.45pm.
The organisers have announced that the line-up will include reggae superstar Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley.

Kaleidoscope of Hope – Saturday 25 May
Rotary Central is hosting “Kaleidoscope of Hope,” its fourth annual gala supporting the Alex Panton Foundation (APF).
All proceeds raised from the Gala will be donated to APF. The Alex Panton Foundation is a non-profit organisation, with the primary objective of raising awareness of mental illnesses affecting children and young adults in the Cayman Islands, with a particular focus on anxiety and depression.
Tickets to the gala are available on Event Pro for CI $150; a ticket includes a cocktail hour with fun and games, and a three-course meal with wine and entertainment. The event will be held at the Grand Cayman Mariott Beach Resort starting at 6pm.

Natural Hair Show and Gala – Sunday 23 June
On Sunday 23 June the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort will be transformed as gorgeous natural hair models from salons all over Cayman take over the red carpet, displaying natural hairstyles. This event is the perfect place to shop for natural hair products and free samples to try out. Enjoy natural hair care seminar by specialists, complimentary cocktails, and canopies.
There will also be live entertainment, prizes, and surprises all evening. The dress code is red carpet elegant. Tickets are CI $65.
Soca On the Beach Carnival Kickoff Fete – Wednesday 26 June
Save the date for the Soca on The Beach Carnival Kickoff Fete slated for Wednesday 26 June at Coral Beach. Tickets are available on Event Pro for CI $10.
