Looking for July events to enjoy in Grand Cayman?

Here’s what you can look forward to next month.     

1 July: Constitution Day Celebrations at Camana Bay

Celebrate Constitution Day with the restaurants at Camana Bay. There will be delicious food and drinks, plus a live DJ from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Expect an incredible firework show to light up the night sky at 8:.30pm; a thrill for the whole family!

1 July: Canada Day Celebrations at Calico Jack’s

It’s Canada Day, eh? Head to Calico Jack’s Bar & Grill on Seven Mile Beach to celebrate the North with your toes in the sand. DJ Mooseknuckle will get the party going as you sip on Absolut Caesars and Canadian Club specials.

Come dressed in your red and white as there will be prizes for best dressed!

5 July: Clothing Swap at Central Terrace

The slow fashion revolution has come to Cayman. Trade your gently used garments with others at this clothing swap event that embraces a circular economy. No cash is needed to purchase clothes; simply trade your clothing for someone else’s. All sizes are welcome, and hangers are provided.

You’ll also receive 10% off at Central Terrace’s restaurants on the day of the event: Mojo, Lucky Slice and Cayman Creperie.

5 July: Charly Black Cooler Fete Concert

This cooler fete with a twist features soca superstar Charly Black, performing for the first time in the Cayman Islands. A lineup of local DJs will also spin tracks throughout the night, including DJ Slaughter Rich and DJ Fyah Kid.

Tickets are $30 pre-sold, $40 at the gate, and $60 VIP.

6 July: Traditional Cooking Class: Custard Top Cornbread

Learn to make custard top cornbread, a Caymanian staple, at this cooking class hosted by the National Trust.

The event is open to adults and teens. A $35 sign up fee includes a tour of the Mission House and a recipe card.

27 July: Sportista Sports and Fitness Expo

Head to the Arts and Recreation Centre at Camana Bay for a day of exhibits and activities related to sports and fitness. Exhibitors will include professionals in physiotherapy, health, nutrition and sports fashion.

27 July: Eden at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa

The second annual Eden exclusive soirée returns to the Kimpton Seafire’s Aurea lawn.

This ultimate cocktail summer party is for guests  21 or older.
