Looking for June events to enjoy in Grand Cayman?

Here’s what you can look forward to next month.

1 June: Free Entry at the National Museum

Residents enjoy free admission to the Cayman Islands National Museum on the first Saturday of every month. Browse artefacts in the historical building’s natural and cultural history galleries, and learn more about the country’s heritage.

8 June: Ice on Ice

The ultimate casino and cocktail party returns to the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort. The event will include table games, a silent raffle, jazz performances, and food and beverage. KYD $59 tickets include one Grey Goose cocktail and $10 worth of gaming chips. All proceeds benefit the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.

9 June: Winds of Hope 5K Walk/Run

Walk or run this 5k event is in support of the Nadine pre-school. The race starts at Smith’s Cove at 6.30am for walkers, and 6.45am for runners; all ages are welcome.

15 June: Flowers Sea Swim

The Flowers Sea Swim is one of the Caribbean’s premiere open-water sea swims. The one-mile event takes place on Seven Mile Beach and attracts both competitive and rookie swimmers from Cayman and abroad. Register to swim, watch from the shoreline, or join the Miss Penny Walk & Watch for KYD $20 in support of the Special Olympics Cayman Islands team.

16 June: Majah Hype at the Lion’s Centre

International comedy sensation, Majah Hype performs live at the Lion’s Centre. General tickets cost KYD $30, the VIP section costs KYD $45, Ultra-VIP costs USD $75, and includes a meet-and-greet with the performer.

29 June: Cayman 27’s Builder’s Expo

Cayman 27’s Builder’s Expo will be held at Camana Bay’s Arts and Recreation Centre again in 2019. It’s the perfect event for the first time and experienced homebuilders. Learn everything you need to know about building in the Cayman Islands from industry experts including architects, contractors, plumbers, and electricians.

30 June: EnviroWalk

The first annual EnviroWalk is a 5k walk/run designed to bring awareness to environmental issues while raising funds for the Miss World Cayman Islands pageant. Sign up to walk or run and keep Cayman green while supporting a local non-profit.
