This 12-13 November Lets all Head to Wintertuin Curaçao Festival 2022

Stop searching for things to do in Curaçao this weekend. Instead, gather the family on Saturday 13 and Sunday 13 November and head to the 4^th Annual Wintertuin Curaçao Festival. It’s a spectacular event for the entire family. With lots of fun activities for your young ones, live performances for the not-so-young, and great local and international dishes for everyone! It’s easily one of the most anticipated annual festivals in Curaçao.

As in the past, this year’s event promises to be full of fun and good vibes. Beginning at 6pm and concluding at 11pm, there will be many activities, such as storytelling, improv theatre, and a treasure hunt. Additionally, you will be entertained by the spectacular acrobatic stilt-walkers and can dance along with the talented Curaçao Dance Experience group.

For poetry lovers, there will be an interactive poetry wall and the opportunity to create beautiful stanzas with poet and scriptwriter Ralph Winedt. Also expected to attend is spoken word poet, writer, and actor Luan Buleshkaj from Amsterdam.

The excitement doesn’t stop there, as a number of children’s workshops will be hosted during the Children’s Program. Among the varied activities planned, they will learn about our local instruments, like the tambú and benta, at a traditional instruments workshop. They will also discover the technique of mimicking planting and harvesting at a Seú dance workshop and create miniature world boxes in Christiane van Helden’s “Make Your Own Viewing Box” workshop. 

There will be much to see, enjoy, and participate in during this Wintertuin Curaçao Festival 2022.
