Lee Litumbe was born in Cameroon and raised in the United States. Noticing that Africa is often left off of world-travel itineraries, she made it her mission to travel solo around her home-continent. She hopes to increase representation and “rebrand” Africa as the network of culturally and naturally vibrant countries that it is. Lee’s blog is a great resource for city guides, equipment recommendations, packing lists and inspirational stories that will make you want to discover more than the mainstream.

Kiersten Rich is a California-native who started her career working in corporate wealth management. Like many future world-travelers, Kiersten decided to embark on a summer of travel that turned into years of solo travel. Now she has a hugely successful blog, and content creation partnerships with big-name brands like Herbal Essences. An entire section of Kiersten’s blog is dedicated to travel tips for women, including beauty routines, safety, adventure experiences, and country-specific guidelines.
