What better way to experience the beauty of Guernsey, Herm and Sark than on foot while raising money for various charities to help the poorest countries across the world.

There’s no excuse not to participate in the 2019 World Aid Walk as it takes place on bank holiday Monday 6 May at 9am starting at the Market Square in St Peter Port.

Sponsored by Sarnia Hotels and Specsavers, the chosen charities to benefit from your walking efforts are: Action Aid, Christian Aid, The Tumaini Fund, This Is EPIC, and The Eleanor Foundation.

The more people who participate, the more funds can be raised to support the charities and change lives.

So, put on your walking shoes and check out the 19km route starting from Market Square, St Peter Port, which follows an anti-clockwise direction across to South Cobo, up to Rousse Tower, then down to the Vale Douzaine Rooms, then finishing back at the Market Square. Estimated time of arrival at Market Square is 4. (fisheries.org) 30pm.
