Another Caribbean Sailing Event! Join the Petite Martinique Whitsuntide Regatta
by Lou-Ann Jordan May 15, 2023

Since January, the Caribbean waterways have been bustling. Over the last five months, we’ve seen numerous regattas and other sailing events.
The tacking and jibing began with our annual Grenada Sailing Week 2023 and Barbados’ Sailing Week in January. Also, Bequia, Antigua and the British Virgin Islands subsequently hosted their yearly sailing events. At the end of February into March, our shores were again overrun with sailors during the Oyster World Rally, with dockings primarily done at harbours on the mainland.
Now, we’re back in the tri-island state this May with another major nautical affair. It’s the Petite Martinique Whitsuntide Regatta! An exciting exhibition of wooden boat sailing! Launched in March 2023, the event officially kicks off on 26 May and concludes on 29 May 2023.
The weekend will feature a mix of sailing and shore-side activities that all can enjoy.
