Happy Valentine’s Grenada!

Certain days in our calendar inspire light-heartedness and joy.  Valentine’s Day is undoubtedly one of those days where people seem to smile more than usual.

The day presents us with a fantastic opportunity to shower our loved ones with affection.  And, that does not always require gifts of chocolate or stuffed animals.  But, what if were to extend ourselves a bit, and share some love with our community—the people we come into contact with at work, or on the street.

Well, the Grenada Listening Project team have come up with a revolutionary way of spreading some love this Valentine’s Day.

The team is inviting one and all to a gathering to share or listen, but mostly to validate each other as the topic of love is discussed.

The primary goal of this Valentine’s Day listening event is to focus on the love of oneself, community, family, environment, and even opponent.

Generally, observation of Valentine’s Day places emphasises romantic love.  However, this event proposes the celebration of love as a wellspring for personal and social change!

All are invited to join the Listening Circle from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm this Friday, 14th February 2020 at Camerhogne Park, Grand Anse.

Be sure to walk with a chair or something to sit on the grass.
