From Free Swim Classes to Awesome Food Tours: Check Out September’s Activity Line Up
by Lou-Ann Jordan Sep 19, 2023

August was an exciting month in Grenada as, in addition to the Spicemas, numerous activities precluded and followed the two carnival days. We beat the heat with beach limes, boat cruises, hiking trips, and more. The sweltering heat also didn’t deter the masqueraders as they took to the streets in a show of colourful costumes and creative mas characters. Also, let’s not forget the sun-glistening, black-oiled bodies of the terrifying jab jab—they never disappoint!
But now, the kids are back at school, and life has returned to normal. However, there are still many fun activities in Grenada this month. Whether you live here or are a visitor to the island who’s here for a little longer, there are many events to which to look forward.
Do you want to learn to swim—it’s a worthy goal, or would you like to maintain the fitness goal you started for the Carnival? Alternatively, are you interested in the arts? This month offers all those and more, including various parties and boat rides.
