Other amendments include daycare and childcare facilities reopened with staff and those accessing the service vaccinated fully. For the time being, schools and religious establishments will continue to be conducted virtually.

The business community will also see changes occurring as businesses are operational. Firstly, restaurants and bars are functional with fully vaccinated staff. While dining in is permitted, it is only for vaccinated persons. However, those unvaccinated may use take away services.

In addition to the reopening of the above establishments, several others are added to the list. Notably, staff are to be vaccinated, and patrons are to access service by appointment only. Among these are:

  • Beauty salons
  • Nail technicians
  • Hairdressers

Many will be happy to know there has also been a modification to the restrictions on accessing beaches and rivers. Both venues can be used by all between 4 am to 4 pm, for swimming or exercising. However, everyone must maintain 6ft social distancing, and parties and large gatherings are prohibited.

Moreover, persons in public spaces and conducting business must wear a face covering. For example, employees at work, customers or visitors should keep their faces protected at all times.

Let’s keep each other safe by adhering to the safety protocols.
