Grenada is beautiful at any time of the year, but Easter is even more so. The flowers are in bloom, and the sky is clear. The weather is enjoyable because it’s cool and breezy. It’s the perfect time for our young ones to be outdoors, and usually, many activities provide such opportunities.

This year is no different, as April has several fun-filled events catering to children. The activities vary, covering sporting events, baking workshops, bazaars, camps, and the ever-popular fun days.

If you’re looking for activities for your young ones or entire family, browse our list below. We’ve collated the main events taking place throughout the month.

Here’s a look at fun kiddie things to do in Grenada during April.

Intercol Championships 2025

The annual Secondary School Intercol Championships take place from 8 to 10 April. This exciting matchup of the island’s top secondary school track and field athletes captures the country’s attention. Enthusiastically supported by students (current and past), shouting and cheering aren’t restricted to the national stadium where the games occur. Far from it, cheers can be heard in businesses, offices, or streets. Adults get in on the action with eyes riveted to TV screens, watching GBN’s coverage of the games. Experiencing it in person is tremendously exciting and something your teens or young adults would enjoy. You can purchase tickets at a reasonable price.

Kids Easter Culinary Fun Day

Catering to children five to 16, the Kids Easter Culinary Fun Day will keep kids off their devices and occupied in the kitchen. It takes place on 12 April 2025 at the Westerhall Secondary School in St. David from 10am to 5pm. Under supervision, participants will engage in fun baking and decorating activities. They’ll also enjoy fun outdoor games, an Easter bunny egg hunt, and kite flying. For more information, call or send a WhatsApp message to (473) 423-4782.

EGYC Kids Easter Camp

Easter camps are a long-held tradition in Grenada, if not the Caribbean. On the mainland, campers are rearing to go to the EGYC Kids Easter Camp. The kids have tremendous fun playing outdoors. They embark on field trips, visit new sites, and cheer each other on during sporting competitions. The two weeks run from 14 to 25 April. Organisers also conveniently provide meals and transportation—a big help for parents. You can visit www.elvirasgardengrenada.com or call (473)-419-3403/422-1771 to register your child or children.

Easter Bazaar

On 19 April, True Blue Bay Resort will again host their annual Easter bazaar, 10am to 4pm. Along with various activities and games for children, the event also caters to adults. It’s truly a family fun day with several artisans and vendors also on-site, offering a bout of shopping. Kids Annual Easter Extravaganza

The Kids Annual Easter Extravaganza is taking it up a notch this year. On 19 April, the Morne Rouge Playing Field will be transformed into an ‘Easter Wonderland’ for children, young and young at heart. The kids will have lots to do and see with bouncy castles, rides, slides, mini vehicles, horseback riding, face painting, cartoon characters, and a talent competition. Did we mention there’s an illusionist and a mesmerising dance troupe on the agenda? The event has a minimal admission fee and an option to purchase a kids’ entertainment package.

Sip & Paint Kids Edition

Sip & Paint Kids Edition is a painting event strictly for children of varying ages. Whether your tween or teen loves to paint, or you want to introduce them to a new creative expression, 20 April offers an excellent opportunity. At Sip & Paint, the kids will do more than just paint; the schedule also includes an egg hunt, raffle, games, and more. They’ll also enjoy the chance to win prizes. Tickets cost $70 and include supplies and refreshments. Adults attending also incur a fee of $40. For more information, you can contact (473) 418-6658.

Bouncy World

Bouncy World is a two-part event. First, on 19 April, kids in the St. Andrew parish and its environs will head to Progress Park to experience the fun and games. With bouncy castles, face painting, rides, and games, we can expect to see many happy and excited little faces. On 26 April, the colourful brigade moves down to Morne Rouge Playing Field in Grand Anse, children in the southern part of the island, to share the experience. Tickets are on sale for older children and adults, while children three and under enjoy free admission. You can contact (473) 534-3088 for more information.

National Learn to Swim Week

The Get Grenada Swimming crew is back for another ‘National Learn to Swim Week.’ Annually, children and adults interested in learning to swim are invited to sign up for free swimming lessons. This year’s swim week will run from 22 to 26 April from 2pm to 6pm. With locations established across the islands, there’s no reason to miss this opportunity.
