The Grenada Chocolate Fest is one of the most anticipated events on the local calendar. Whether you’re local or visiting, it should definitely top your things to do in Grenada list.

Each year, the event features six days full of activities, where locals and visitors learn about the region’s cocoa, particularly Grenada’s cocoa farming and production. In addition to visiting several local cocoa farms, the troupe engages in fun activities like “dancing de cocoa”, creating chocolate treats and much chocolate tasting. Well-attended and very entertaining, it’s a remarkable experience that invites all to trace the tree-to-bar chocolate-making process.

This May promises to be equally enjoyable as organisers have incorporated the rum-making process. Therefore, attendees will explore two significant manufacturing industries in Grenada. Moreover, scheduled to take place from 16-21 May 2023, this instalment of the annual chocolate festival is likely to be even more celebratory as it’s the 10th anniversary.
