One Week of Activities to Keep You Busy This Mashramani
by Lou-Ann Jordan Feb 17, 2020
Guyana, on 23 February we will celebrate our Golden Jubilee!
This year we will celebrate Mashramani like no other, as we are, after all, commemorating our nation’s 50th anniversary as a republic. And, there are numerous events carded to mark the momentous occasion.
Of course, there will be our annual Mashramani Day Float Parade. And this year, locals and visitors can look forward to a whirlwind of fun-filled activities that is sure to leave all breathless.
You can pack up the family and enjoy an afternoon of delicious Guyanese cuisine, or take the kids to be entertained by enthralling storytellers. Another option is you can take in an evening of relaxing jazz music or with a group of friends head over to the stadium for the T20 Bash.
