Rupununi Music & Arts Festival 2023 - main

The Rupununi Music & Arts Festival is back with performances and workshops by artists from Guyana, Barbados, and Brazil. The festival typically spans three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), rich with activities patrons can enjoy. The inaugural event was at Rock View Lodge, Annai, in 2014. This year, the festival is on 17-19 March 2023 and takes place at Manari Ranch, Region 9, in Guyana, South America.

Some things that make this event unique include the fusion of music, camping under the stars, in the Rupununi, next to a river, or in the rainforest. People get together, share space, network and have fun, bridging different cultures while creating lasting memories.

The festival is ideal for music enthusiasts, nature lovers, and anyone needing a break from a busy or stressful lifestyle. The concept for the event is to create an eco-friendly, environmentally sustainable, ‘benab-style’ village that includes camping accommodations, seating areas, stalls (arts and crafts, food, etc.), a performance stage, and flexible small performance and meeting spaces, among other amenities.
