Jamaica is bursting with good food, and the culinary scene is growing every year. As new restaurants, food events, and food trucks pop up, so do bloggers and Instragammers helping you find good food.

We’ve picked out four Jamaican food bloggers and Instagrammers that every Jamaican foodie should be following.

Jessica in the Kitchen

Jessica Hylton Leckie is one of the first and most popular local food bloggers. On her award-winning blog, Jessica In the Kitchen, she shares mainly vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. Jessica also shares photos of her tempting creations and her amazing travels on her Instagram.

Christina Simonitsch (Simo’s Bread and Catering)

While Christina doesn’t share recipes on her IG, her page is perfect for any Jamaican foodie who loves to look at delicious meals. This Jamaican chef with Austrian roots runs Simo’s Bread and Catering, and you’ll find her at many markets and gourmet pop-ups with amazing dishes and treats.

Where’s the Food Jo

This colourful Instagram shares where and what to eat around Ja. From culinary events to locally-made prepacked goodies and condiments, restaurants and catered meals, Where’s the Food Jo covers it all.

Pink Apron Ja

Pink Apron Ja, the brainchild of chef Charissa Henry, is a gourmet catering company and food truck. The dates, times, and menus for Pink Apron’s food truck pop-ups are posted on the Instagram page. With dishes like French toast stuffed with mascarpone and berry compote and loaded seafood nachos, you’ll want to follow Pink Apron Ja to find out when you can get your hands on some.
