The gastronomic extravaganza of the year is almost here, the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival kicks off on 20 October. So that you know exactly what foodie events are scheduled for the festival we’ve got a helpful breakdown of everything that’s on.

Pork Palooza: 20 October, 7pm – 11pm
All-inclusive
Palm Drive, Hope Gardens

If pork is your thing that Pork Palooza is a must-attend event. Think all-you-can-eat crispy crackling, juicy pork belly, perfectly grilled chops and tender fall-off-the-bone ribs blanketed in divine secret sauce… If that doesn’t have you licking your lips shall we mention dessert? Jamaica’s top pork masters will compete at Pork Palooza for the “Top Hog” title.

D’Vine: 21 October, 11am – 2pm
All-inclusive
White Mist, Peter’s Rock

A Sunday brunch in the hills overlooking the city, catered by two master chefs, D’Vine will delight your palate and satisfy your inner wine connoisseur. This is a sophisticated, indulgent event, with impeccable food and wine pairings.

Chopstix: 24 October, 7pm – 11pm

Answer the culinary call of the Far East at Chopstix. At this event sample sumptuous delights from all corners of Asia like Vietnamese pork belly, Peking duck, naans and chutneys, and dive into a smorgasbord of sushi and sashimi.

Taking a bite of something hot and fried to crispy perfection is oh so satisfying. Smooth Jamaican rum will help you to wash it all down. Jamaica’s first gourmet spicy food fest is an exploration of seasonings and unique spicy blends for those who can handle it…

Meet Street & the Market: October 27, 3pm – midnight
Kingston Waterfront, Opposite BOJ

An incredible array of food in one space, Meet Street and the Market will have something for every taste. Food trucks galore, restaurants, cafes, gourmet artisans… there’s so much to see and do and taste. Full of energy and fun activities for kids, it’s a perfect day out for foodies and families.
