In its 61st year, Montserrat Carnival will again bring the island alive from December 2023 to early January 2024. The annual festivities spectacularly represent the best of our culture and people. The month-long party offers much to enjoy as we blend the Christmas holiday with the more colourful carnival season.
Locals and visitors to the island can anticipate an array of entertaining activities from 16 December 2023 to 2 January 2024. As customary, our top calypsonians and soca artistes will vie for first place in the respective competitions. The queen pageant, which showcases a bevy of our local beauties, will again draw our participation as we root for our favourite contestant. Then, the gloves will come off at the most exciting contest at this time of the year, the Carnival Domino Knock-out Competition. Of course, intermingled with these are our traditional Christmas events like carol singing.
With so many activities, it’s a lot to take in, and we know you don’t want to miss any of them. So, here’s the Montserrat Art Council’s event schedule for the Montserrat Carnival 2023.
