Five Caribbean countries will host Caribbean Premier League (CPL) games when the tournament gets underway from 17 August to 24 September 2023.

The defending champions Jamaica Tallawahs will play the first CPL game of the season at the Daren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia against the home side St Lucia Kings.

The action is then set to move on to St Kitts and Nevis, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago, before concluding in Guyana. Barbados has not hosted any CPL matches since 2019. All venues will stage six games each.

In a statement, the CPL’s chief executive officer, Pete Russell said: “We are very pleased that the tournament will be staged in five countries in 2023. As ever, the CPL is a chance for fans across the region and around the world to enjoy world class cricket. And for the players from the Caribbean, it is an opportunity to showcase their skills and further their careers.”

CPL2023 Schedule

The first leg of matches will take place from 16-20 August in St Lucia, with the home side playing four of the six games. The games from 23-27 August will be at Warner Park in St Kitts & Nevis with four matches for the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.

Barbados’ Kensington Oval will host the next set of games from 30 August-3 September. The Barbados Royals will play four of those matches. The tournament will then move to Trinidad & Tobago from 5-10 September with four matches for the Trinbago Knight Riders.

Guyana will host the final games from 13-24 September including the playoffs and the final from 19-24 September.
