St Vincent and the Grenadines will host its first-ever sailing week from 13-21 April 2025 to celebrate the country’s sailing, culture, and maritime heritage.
Building on the popularity of the annual Bequia Easter Regatta, SVG Sailing Week is set to offer crews and spectators nine days of thrilling racing action, exquisite cuisine, live music, and cultural festivities.
The two main events during the week will be The Bougainvillea Cup and The Bequia Easter Regatta.
The Bougainvillea Cup is scheduled from 13-15 April. According to the organisers, this is “a thrilling three-day regatta, starting from the mainland and sailing through the scenic Grenadines, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable stops.”
The Bequia Easter Regatta is on from 16-21 April and is described as “an iconic event that combines exciting races with immersive cultural experiences, local traditions, and vibrant gatherings”.
SVG Sailing Week is organised by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority. The event is open to sailors of all skill levels and a variety of yacht classes.
