Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2024: Check Out the Schedule of Events

Often referred to as the greatest show on earth, the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival is one of the Caribbean’s biggest annual festivals. Thousands descend on the twin island each year to enjoy a busy schedule of official and private fetes that can occur throughout the day (breakfast, midday, and night), culminating in two days of street parades. Trinidad costume designers offer the Caribbean an incredible spectacle with costumes that are a throwback to yesteryear while also showcasing more modern trends.

This year, Trinbago joins islands such as Bonaire, Curaçao and Carriacou in hosting our carnival on 12 and 13 February. Of course, a long list of events will occur in the lead-up to those two days. Then, to cool down, it is customary for visitors and locals to head to Tobago for a bit of respite at popular beaches like Store Bay, Pigeon Point, Nylon Pool, and others.

If you’re what Trinis calls a “Carnival Baby,” then you likely want the low-down on the scheduled events. Here’s a look at the National Carnival Commission’s (NCC) list of scheduled events for the holiday season.
