Lee Litumbe was born in Cameroon and raised in the United States. Noticing that Africa is often left off of world-travel itineraries, she made it her mission to travel solo around her home-continent. She hopes to increase representation and “rebrand” Africa as the network of culturally and naturally vibrant countries that it is. Lee’s blog is a great resource for city guides, equipment recommendations, packing lists and inspirational stories that will make you want to discover more than the mainstream.
