Grace Bay Beach on Turks and Caicos has been named the Best Beach in the World, according to TripAdvisor.

Described by one traveller as “what postcards are made for”, Grace Bay topped the 2022 best beach rankings after beating off tough competition from Varadero Beach in Cuba, Turquoise Bay in Exmouth, Australia, Quarta Praia in Brazil, and Eagle Beach in Aruba.

Over the past 20 years, Grace Bay has come either first or second in TripAdvisor’s list of the best beaches in the world.

What makes Grace Bay Beach so special?

Located on the northeast coast of the island of Providenciales, Grace Bay’s pristine features include 4.8 kilometres of signature powdery soft, white sand with turquoise, crystal clear, calm water.

The beach is perfectly untouched with no rocks or seaweed, and despite the presence of large-scale resorts or hotels nearby, the location has retained its ‘no pollution’ tag.

Some of the water sports on offer include paddleboarding, parasailing, windsurfing, and kayaking, or you can get on a boat for a scuba diving, fishing, or snorkelling excursion.

When you’ve finished soaking up the views and the tranquillity, you’ll find restaurants and shops just a short walk away from the shore.

The Caribbean has some of the world’s most stunningly beautiful beaches, but Turks and Caicos has the best!
