In the Pink 2018

As the second-leading type of cancer in the Caribbean, it’s imperative that we foster awareness surrounding, and prevention of, breast cancer. On 13th October, The Palms Turks & Caicos will host the 10th annual In the Pink fundraiser to benefit the National Cancer Society and support patients currently fighting the disease.
The evening will feature:
- A shopping event with bargains on a variety of styles
- A pink-themed after-party with hibiscus-infused pink beer courtesy of Turks Head Brewery
- Raffles
- Silent auctions
- A poker tournament
- Sip-n-Paint sessions with Towana Kennedy.
This year, Jai’s is raffling off an impressive Rolex Oyster Perpetual ladies watch, valued at $5,400.
In the words of Committee Chairman Karen Whitt on the event’s Facebook page, “In The Pink gives guests the opportunity to celebrate the joy of giving by coming together to enjoy music, shopping, food and friendship. We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with the National Cancer Society as we join the fight against breast cancer, and we are so pleased to support such a worthy cause.”
