Apsara Trinidad opened its doors to the business at the Grand Bazaar Plaza in 1996.
Apsara over the past Twenty Three years has developed a reputation for consistently good quality authentic Northern India Food. Trip Advisor has given Apsara a five-star rating and recorded reviews from customers confirm Trip Advisor's rating.
In 1998 the restaurant was relocated to grand stately landmark house at 13 Queens Park East, Port of Spain.
In 2004, Apsara opened in Barbados with great success.
The skilled chefs are from India, bringing with them their exotic palette of spices. The menu is widely varied -- almost too large -- but the dishes are a delight, especially tandoori specialties like jumbo shrimp marinated in yogurt, fresh lime juice, and Indian spices. The tender lamb cooked in a rich curry sauce is another highlight. Many dishes will please vegetarians.

In 1998 Apsara opened another restaurant ( Tamnak Thai ) on the same premises and it has also proved to be very successful.
In 2007 Asian Cuisine Ltd was established and that company manages Apsara and Tamnak Thai Restaurants.
In 2016 Old Havana, a Cuban Cigar Lounge and Siam Nightlife, a night club, was established on the 1st Floor of the building housing Apsara and Tamnak Thai Restaurant.
Old Havana specializes in Authentic Cuban and Dominician Cigars, Hand Rolled Cigars and Premium Cognac and Rums in a Cuban atmosphere.
Siam specializes in giving the public a superior experience in clubbing. Is not the ordinary run of the mill " Club" but an experience in clubbing. The best Bartenders and Serving staff and Premium Drinks and specials in a spectacular atmosphere, bringing a taste of Thailand into the mix.
