Children 12 and under should ride buckled up in the rear seat. If advised by another motorist of problems with your vehicle, do not stop until reaching a service station or well populated area. Infants in rear-facing child seats should NEVER ride in front seat of vehicle.
Do not store valuables in your AVIS vehicle. Wallets, purses, etc. should be kept of out plain sight while driving. Small children should ride in a rear seat in child safety seats approved for their age and size.
Park only in a lit area. Adhere to no parking signs. Always check on the interior and around the exterior of your vehicle before entering. Always have on hand, your diver's license and vehicle insurance [found in glove box]. .
In major towns, try to locate and use public car parks.
