Hurricane: Anguilla Relief

donations-1

Following the passage of one of the most powerful storms to ever form in the Atlantic, Anguilla has suffered an enormous amount of destruction. However, with help, the challenges coming in the days and months ahead are not insurmountable.

For those who wish to assist Anguilla and our people there are many ways to do so, both in cash and kind.

Monetary donations can be made through the following agencies:

• CDEMA – Caribbean Disaster Emergency Agency (CDEMA) (Anguilla Relief Aid)

• British Red Cross – https://beta.redcross.org.uk/appeal/hurricane-irma-appeal

• Donors in the UK can donate via the West India Committee – www.westindiacommittee.org/donate/

• Those donating from the United States have the option of giving through The Anguilla Progressive Association of New York – https://www.apa-ny.org/

For those interested in donating in kind, the following items are needed:

• Building material such as galvanised sheet roofing, construction and pressure treated plywood, T1-11 pressure treated plywood, other building materials.

• Medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, baby food, water, foodstuffs

Please see the Anguilla Tourist Board website for more detailed information on how you can help.
