The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents the Made in Belize Expo. Held in Belmopan, the event features a range of locally made products and services, from jewellery and baskets to food and drink. 3 June: Mayan Chocolate Making Night
Head to San Ignacio for Mayan chocolate making night at the Maya Mountain Lodge. For only USD $15 per person, you’ll enjoy a hands-on lesson using traditional Mayan stone-grinding techniques.
13 to 22 June: San Pedro Lobster Fest
The summer months are lobster season in Belize, and many districts will celebrate with fun and delicious lobster fest events. San Pedro’s festival will stretch over many of its cays and coastal towns, with a block party in the Central Park on 22 June. 15 June: Natural Hair Festival
Meet with industry professionals and learn the best tips and tricks for natural, healthy hair. Get up to 20% off of salon products and services, and enjoy free demonstrations and tutorials. It all takes place at Mom’s Cultural Events and Café in San Ignacio.
21 to 23 June: Placencia Lobster Fest
As the San Pedro Lobster Fest closes, the Placencia edition begins. Dine on lobster prepared in a variety of ways from classic grilled lobster with butter, to ceviche, fajitas and gourmet dishes. The whole family will enjoy this event, which also includes festival games, eating contests and entertainment.
This event at Om Shanti Belize in Belize City will focus on Thai massage or assisted yoga, one of the oldest healing techniques in the world. No experience is necessary to relax at this workshop, where you will learn how to manipulate the body and its energies for maximum rejuvenation.
Vanessa Awe Makeup Artistry will host this annual event at the Radisson Fort George Hotel and Marina in Belize City. The makeup and beauty event is designed to help participants of all backgrounds embrace their beauty and boost their confidence with simple makeup techniques.
